OUR STORY
On August 25, 2017, we received official certification from the State of Florida, marking the formation of St. Michael Debre Sahil Ethiopian Orthodox Church. This pivotal moment led us to a temporary space at 12601 Balcombe Rd, Orlando, FL 32837, where our congregation grew as we raised funds to realize our vision.
A significant milestone occurred on September 22, 2022, when the church received formal recognition from the Ethiopian Orthodox Church. With this acknowledgment, we welcomed our first priest and began offering comprehensive spiritual services to our community.
Now, as we reflect on eight years since our humble beginnings, we stand at our new location at 6301 Nassau Avenue, Orlando, FL 32822, ready to embark on a new chapter in our spiritual journey. With faith as our guide and unity as our strength, we continue this blessed path forward.
